Born to organize!
Elinor Warkentin began organizing at an early age. She grew up in a Mennonite farm family where order and cleanliness were key. Combine that with her Virgo birth sign, her desire to help others and natural leadership skills and you have the CEO, Chief Exceptional Organizer, of Goodbye Clutter!
An active member of Professional Organizers of Canada (POC) since 2003, Elinor is a Vancouver based Professional Organizer who has worked with clients ranging from actors to lawyers, professors to philanthropists, singles to families. She’s assisted retirees looking to downsize and plan aspects of their personal estate. Elinor has shared her talents worldwide, in places like New York, the UK and Paris, helping clients to reshape their personal surroundings and plan for the future. She has an incredible aptitude for organizing, solving spatial challenges, and empathic listening. She enjoys assisting clients to connect the outer environment with their inner well-being.
Important parts of Goodbye Clutter’s philosophy include being active in the community, sharing business profits and personal resources with community-based groups, and supporting other small businesses. Elinor volunteers with the Vancouver Folk Music Festival
, the Women’s Monument and numerous other local community non-profits. On a global stage, Elinor has served on the Board of Trustees of Women Welcome Women World Wide
(5W), an international women’s travel and friendship organization since 2005.
In 2014, Elinor was awarded POC’s annual Ambassador Award
, for her work within POC and in her communities.
