Happy Clients: Before (“Help! I’m overwhelmed!) & After (“I’m so happy!”)
This homeowner had a clear sense of the result she wanted, but didn’t know how to get there. The paper clutter was overwhelming and depressing. I helped her reduce the floor clutter so she could create the comfortable, relaxing space she desired.
Above: Without a filing system, this home office turned into a sea of receipts and mixed papers, with taxes overdue by four years. In two sessions, all the receipts from 5 years were organized for the accountant, the dining room table cleared and a simple system in place to avoid the chaos.
Above: My favourite esthetician creates exquisite art on my nails. From a tiny square POC logo (see bottom of page for sample) to watermelon slices, Joanna paints with great care. Her nail polish collection wasn’t receiving the same attention. In one short session, the paint was organized by brand and colour, and much easier to find.
These photos were part of a client’s spring cleaning that actually took several seasons. Every several months, the client would call and say ‘I’m ready for more, please come help.” My Organizing Angel and I would arrive to tackle another area of her relatively stuffed house. These photos show clothes and baby things removed from a bedroom in one afternoon. What the pictures don’t show is the old rug that was also removed, or that the ‘babies’ were now in college. A delightful client, and the kind of project Goodbye Clutter! loves: helping clients let go of dated, unnecessary excess.
